Dr. John Shedlock

Dr. John Shedlock grew up in Chesterfield, PA and attended Moshannon Valley High School. He earned a business degree from Penn State, and completed optometry school in 2008 at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Shedlock has many hobbies outside of work. He is an avid hunter and loves taking his daughters with him. You can find him outside farming and tinkering with his many machines. He never has a shortage of projects on his to-do list.

Dr. Brooke Catanese-Shedlock

Dr. Brooke Catanese-Shedlock grew up in Seward, PA, graduating from Laurel Valley High School in 2000. She completed her undergrad in 2004 at Penn State and finished her optometry degree in 2008 at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Her and John have 4 beautiful daughters. You can find her cheering on the sidelines for softball, soccer, & volleyball games and enjoys volunteering with the MV PTO. Brooke has a love for the beach, Hallmark movies, and shoes.

Cindi Jarrett

I have nine years of experience as an optician and over 20 years working in a variety of medical office settings. I truly enjoy helping patients find glasses that not only meet their vision needs but also reflect their personal style and personality. Building trust and making people feel comfortable is at the heart of what I do. Outside of work, family means everything to me, and spending time with my grandchildren is the greatest joy of my life.

Brooke Mosley

I graduated from Moshannon Valley, and Health Occupations in 2020.
I’m an optician who joined the practice May of 2024. I enjoy working with patients and helping them find glasses that meet their style and expectations. I love learning, and taking on new challenges. Outside of work I enjoy exploring new places, traveling, and spending time with family, and friends.

Rebekah Tekely

Rebekah Tekely started with Moshannon Valley Eye Care in August 2023. Prior to coming to our office she worked in hospitality at Penn State. Bekah loves chatting with patients and finding you a perfect frame.

She stays busy taking care of her daughters. She loves baking, being outside in the woods and do it yourself home renovations.
